  • ARC of Pike County (Association for Retarded Citizens) - provides leadership and programs for persons afflicted by mental retardation and their family caregivers, including training that will lead to greater independence and self actualization.

  • American Red Cross (Wayne-Pike Chapter)

    "…The American Red Cross, the largest humanitarian organization in the world relies solely on the generosity of people like you. Our services include disaster assistance to local families that have been devastated by disaster, assistance to members of the military and their families who need to contact a loved one in an emergency, classes in lifesaving skills and bloodmobiles to collect the "Gift of Life". Our services are as endless as our commitment. We greatly appreciate your generous gift and will use it wisely."

  • CDD (Center for Developmental Disabilities) - provides educational, therapeutic and referral services for special needs children, from birth through age 5, as well as their families.

  • Country Ark Farm - Therapeutic and respite services.

  • GAIT (Genuine Alternative In Therapy) - promotes physical, mental and emotional well being for disabled children and adults through structured interaction with animals, specifically therapeutic equine programs.

  • Good News Good Cheer Food Pantry

  • Habitat for Humanity - provides programs to alleviate homelessness and provide adequate housing for those in need.

  • Holy Trinity Food Pantry - provides supplemental pantry services to help meet basic food needs of Pike County families in low income situations who could not otherwise obtain sufficient nutrition.

  • Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council, Adult Training and Education - programs to train adults who, in turn, teach girl scouts about the importance of community service and how to set and achieve personal goals for performing lifelong successful community service.

  • Survivors' Resources - provides direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

  • Wayne Memorial Hospital Health Foundation Mobile Dental Unit

    "...…Thank you for awarding our hospital a grant for the Mobile Dental Outreach Project. In less than six months this new program has served over 484 children ages 4-21, and helped families apply for free or reduced price dental/medical coverage. Income-based sliding fee scales are also available."

  • Wayne-Pike Adult Literacy - Provides training for basic learning skills and one on one reading instruction.

    "...…We were thrilled to receive your generous grant and have been using it to meet our book budget expenditures for our 141 enrolled students who receive these needed materials free of charge. Again, heartfelt thanks from all our volunteer tutors and our grateful students."
