1. American Red Cross (website): Wayne - Pike Chapter

Support for ongoing disaster relief for families in Pike County.

2. Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA (website)

Scholarships for after school childcare, day camp, resident camp and community sports program experiences available to the children of Pike County.

3. Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug & Alcohol Commission (website)

Support for short term residential treatment stay for Pike County adolescent.

4. Catholic Social Services

Material Assistance Program- providing general living necessities to needy Pike families on a temporary basis.

5. CDD - Center for Developmental Disabilities of Pike County

Providing a continuum of educational, therapeutic, and referral services for Pike children birth through age five and their families, thereby maximizing the children's potential and broadening the families' support base.

6. Compassionate Friends-Delaware Valley Chapter (national website)

Assisting Pike County families towards positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

7. New Visions Clubhouse - Consolidated Training & Services, Inc.

New Vision Clubhouse is a place for adults with mental illnesses to reconnect with the community and develop a sense of belonging and self-worth. Members find a safe, supportive environment to learn new skills, gain confidence and bring balance back into their lives.

8. Country Ark Farm (website)

Providing program services for the physically, mentally and emotionally special-abled community in Pike County.

9. Devereux Pocono Center (website)

Relief Care Program providing in-home relief care services for homebound individuals in Pike County.

10. GAIT - Genuine Alternative In Therapy (website)

A therapeutic horseback riding center to improve the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities resulting in a more independent life in society. Scholarship Fund for needy families unable to afford services.

11. Good Cheer Food Pantry

Providing food supplies and services to Pike County residents in need.

12. Habitat for Humanity of Pike County (website)

Building adequate and affordable housing for families in Pike County threatened by homelessness, who in turn provide sweat equity and financial commitment.

13. Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry

Serving Pike by providing healthy food to needy families - including meat, vegetables, fresh produce and juice.

14. Honesdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. (website)

Provides advanced level of emergency care in Northern Pike County.

15. PCDC - Pike County Developmental Center

A respite center that provides training for developmentally challenged adults - ages 16 and up, enhancing their lives and helping them reach greater independence.

16. Pike County Advanced Life Support (website)

Mobile Paramedic Unit which provides emergent pre-hospital care.

17. Pike County Alliance for Prevention Programs

Operates Communities That Care After School Program.

18. Pike County Tobacco Free Coalition (webpage)

Training and implementation of the Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU) program in which high school students team teach 3-5th graders.

19. PEEC - Pocono Environmental Education Center (website)

Financial assistance to make summer program participation available to the children of Pike County.

20. Survivors' Resources

Providing direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, empowering them to become survivors.

21. The Salvation Army (national website)

To meet human needs in the local community by providing material assistance to Pike County residents.

22. Voluntary Action Center of NEPA (website): Big Brothers Big Sisters Pike Extension

Provides Pike County "at-risk" youth with mentoring relationships.

23. Wayne-Pike Adult Literacy (website)

Provides free one-on-one basic skills, GED, and ESL instruction to Pike adults seventeen or older, giving them the necessary skills to succeed in the workforce.
