List of
Board Members
Office staff, program directors, web administrator
and others at the Pike United Way are also volunteers with the
exception of two part-time employees.
AmeriCorps has also granted the Pike United Way the
services of several full-time Volunteers In-Service To America (VISTA)
workers over the years to assist us and our programs.
Office space for the Pike United Way has always
been generously provided. The office has been located at 105 West
George Street in Milford since October, 2007.
Special Thanks to: Pam and Dick Lutfy for providing
space at the Sunshine Station from January 2005 to September 2007 and
previously at the Tom Quick Inn from mid-1999. Prior to then, our
office space was at the Wayne Memorial Hospital Outpatient Center
(Lords Valley). Board meetings were also held at Weinstein, Schneider
Kannebecker and Lokuta (Milford) until our offices moved to the
Sunshine Station.
The fees and dues to the United Way of America are
1% and provide for many valuable services including national branding,
NFL partnership marking, databases, training programs, statistics and
best practices to name a few.
These measures enable the Pike United Way to keep
costs to a minimal and our nonfundable costs are about 11%.
An independent financial audit for the year ending
December 31, 2006 was completed in October 2007. The audit reported
that our records are in compliance with current generally accepted
accounting principles. Audit conducted by Berard & Donahue CPA,
LLP (Suffern, NY). The audit for the year 2007 will be available at the
end of the year in 2008.
