A FREE comprehensive on-line database of government, nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations that: Provide human, health, public, community or other essential services Provide free, subsidized or not-for-profit services Support Pike County residents Other organizations that support Pike County are listed if they provide essential or commonly sought services by county residents. The web site also has a listing of volunteer and job opportunities and a community calendar of events. Additional financial support was provided by a Monroe/Pike Community Block Grant and the Pike Human Services Development Fund for 2004-08. Support was also provided by the AmeriCorps*Volunteer In-Service To America (VISTA) program in 2002-2004 and 2007.
