Back to School Drive

With the 2017-2018 Delaware Valley School District school year just around the corner. The United Way of Pike County will once again be putting together a Back to School Back Pack Drive. The idea behind this campaign is to assist children in need of school supplies.

“The United Way of Pike County is always looking for ways to help the community when it comes to Hunger and Homelessness. We know that there are many families in the community that could benefit from a Back to School Back Pack Drive.  We are excited to run this campaign again and we really hope to have the support of the community in making it successful. Said Matt Osterberg, President of UWPC.”

We will be collecting items such as crayons, pencils, glue, notebooks, markets, pocket folders, scissors and any other school supplies a child may need for the school year. Various boxes will be placed around Pike County, please feel free to drop supplies in the box.  The drive will end on August 11th and we will then partner with a count agency in making sure the supplies get to those families in need. The main box will be located at our office at 209 East Harford Street, Milford. We hope that the community comes together and participates in this campaign.
